Your Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a 5-6 month missions experience where you get to know God and make Him known in the nations.
Awake DTS is designed to awaken young people to a life fully devoted to God and His mission. Join us as we serve in the United Kingdom, grow in intimacy with Jesus, and discover how your gifts and passions can impact communities for His Kingdom.
With bilingual classes in English and Portuguese, students engage in worship, prayer, and hands-on ministry, being challenged, equipped, and inspired to live missionally wherever God leads them.

Training Phase Cost: £3000
Outreach Cost: £2500-£3,000*
*The cost of flights and visas will be in addition dependent on location.
TRAINING PHASE (3 MONTHS)

Go deeper in your relationship with God, explore your calling, and get training from leaders with years of experience in missions.
Each week focuses on topics such as:
- Hearing God’s voice
- Nature & Character of God
- How to preach the Gospel
- Reading the Bible and Biblical worldview
- Power of the Holy Spirit
- International Missions
SKILLSET TRACKS
Your DTS track is a dedicated four-hour weekly session in your Training Phase, designed to help you grow in skills aligned with your passion or calling. Each track blends interactive workshops with practical opportunities to apply what you’re learning.
CHOOSE YOUR TRACK:
🎶 WORSHIP TRACK
The Worship Track equips you to grow in biblical understanding, spiritual depth, and practical skills for leading worship. Through focused teaching, mentorship, and hands-on practice, you’ll learn to cultivate a lifestyle of worship and lead others with confidence and authenticity.
🌎 ENGLISH TRACK
The English Track strengthens your communication skills for cross-cultural and mission settings. Through practical lessons and interactive practice, you’ll build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing so you can serve and connect more effectively in diverse communities..
🏅SPORTS TRACK
The Sports Track equips you to use athletics as a tool for ministry and connection. Through training, teamwork, and practical outreach, you’ll learn how to share the gospel, build relationships, and serve communities through sports.
📸 MEDIA TRACK
The Media Track equips you to create and manage media that supports ministry and mission. Through hands-on projects and training, you’ll develop skills in storytelling, content creation, and digital outreach to inspire, connect, and serve communities effectively.
OUTREACH PHASE (2-3 MONTHS)
The Nations
Travel to the nations with your team to share the love of God, and meet needs in practical ways.
What your outreach can look like:
- Sharing the gospel on the streets
- Partnering with local churches and ministries
- Preaching, teaching, leading worship
- Children’s ministry
- Supporting communities with practical skills
- Giving out Bibles
Our DTS teams often go to the same focus nations or similar regions. This is so you build on partnerships with people and ministries who are on the ground. Your outreach location is announced during the first few weeks of DTS, but in the past we have sent teams to Thailand and the Middle East.
